Brix Happy Hour Celebration for Wisconsin Women in Conservation Week!

Join WiWiC in celebrating Wisconsin Women in Conservation Week, July 5-11, as proclaimed by the Governor. This will be our fifth year meeting at Brix Cider to celebrate this week recognizing the incredible women conservationists, farmers, gardeners, and educators who are doing the good work of earth stewardship in the state! We always have a great time enjoying Brix snacks and connecting with friends old and new.

This is an informal gathering at Brix Cider - outside, weather permitting.

The host of this event will be WiWiC Project Lead and Michael Fields Agricultural Institute (MFAI) Education Director Dr. Esther S. Durairaj. She will be joined by Dr. Mrill Ingram, an environmental writer and geographer who is also MFAI's Participatory Action Research Scientist. Ingram will share what she has learned through five years of leading the Wisconsin Cover Crop Data Network, a farmer-driven citizen science project. But the main event wil…
