About the Event
Join WiWiC in celebrating Wisconsin Women in Conservation Week, July 5-11, as proclaimed by Governor Evers. This will be our fifth year meeting at Alice's Garden to celebrate a week recognizing the incredible women conservationists, farmers, gardeners, and educators who are doing the good work of earth stewardship in the state! We always have a great time connecting with friends old and new in the beautiful gazebo shelter, surrounded by many garden plots representing cultures from around the world.
We'll hear inspiring and motivating welcome remarks from Venice Williams, Alice's Garden CEO. And we'll have some other great women lined up to speak about their work. But the main event will be YOU - sharing updates about how you're doing and how your conservation efforts are going. Bring business cards and brochures, news to share and ways to care. This is a networking bonanza for Milwaukee area conservation enthusiasts!
