This is an opportunity for women landowners, farmers, farm workers, gardeners, and conservation professionals to connect around their shared interest in land stewardship and learn from one another. Brunch will be a casual potluck at a lovely established prairie.

About the Event
Come tour a prairie side-by-side with Conservation Coach Sally Farrar, natural resource professionals, and neighbors that can build our knowledge of prairies, prairie establishment and restoration. Sally Farrar, a passionate prairie steward from Pepin County, will lead a hike through her personal prairie and explain the process in regards to seed selection, pollinators and native grasses, drilling vs. tilling, prairie burns and more. Learn about specific grasses, pollinators, wildflowers, grassland birds and other biodiversity that prairies foster. The event is free of charge, but we ask you bring a dish to pass. Registration is required.
Sally Farrar is a Conservation Coach with the WiWiC project and also own 72 acres is Pepin County including a mix of open, forested and prairie.
