About the Event

Please join us for an  informal gathering of conservation educators to meet and learn from others working with women landowners!

All conservation professionals who work with women landowners in various ways are enthusiastically invited -- whether you work for a state agency, non-profit or are an educator volunteer -- we'd love to meet and connect!

Did you know that Governor Evers has declared July 10-16  Wisconsin Women in Conservation Week?

You are a BIG DEAL, and women landowners and farmers are also a big deal when it comes to stewarding Wisconsin’s soil, protecting water, and preserving wildlife habitat.

Feel free to invite other conservation colleagues who work with women landowners.

WiWiC Hosts: Esther Shekinah (Michael Fields Agricultural Institute), Kriss Marion (Wisconsin Farmers Union), Lisa Kivirist (Renewing the Countryside)

Special guest: Una VanDuvall, Michael Fields Agricultural Institute Board Member

Welcoming Remarks:  Venice Williams, Alice's Garden

Kid-Friendly.  Event will be outside.

Complimentary dips & drinks will be served.

Photos will be taken at this event and used for educational purposes only by WiWiC and the partner groups.  If you do not wish to have your picture taken, let the on-site WiWiC host know.

About Wisconsin Women in Conservation

WiWiC is a state-wide collaborative effort led by the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in partnership with Wisconsin Farmers Union, Renewing the Countryside and Marbleseed (formerly MOSES).  A five-year multi-faceted project funded by the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), WiWiC brings together Wisconsin women landowners to connect and learn about conservation practices, resources, and funding opportunities.
