About the Event

This on-farm gathering will be an opportunity for women landowners to connect around their shared interest in conservation practices and to learn from one another.  It will be a casual afternoon potluck at beautiful Kinstone located in Fountain City, WI. Kinstone is located on 4th generation family farmland. It is a bluff-top property that had fields and pasture that previously supported a small, family dairy farm. They are stewards of this land and are always working on regenerating the land and reestablishing native ecosystems that likely existed prior to the farming done here. One of their main land stewardship tools is Permaculture. You'll be invited to share your conservation experiences, as well.

Farm owner and chef Jennifer Monsos, with Tansy's Traveling Kitchen, will be leading us in a Stone Soup style potluck event at Kinstone, a 30 acre haven set in beautiful Buffalo county. We know you all just came off a busy gardening and harvest season, so instead of bringing a dish, just bring a single whole food ingredient (fruits, veggies, meat) and we will co-create a meal together with Jennifer's creativity and cooking skills guiding us. Visit with fellow women landowners, gather ideas for next year, and take in the beauty of the stone sculptures and natural landscapes of this site.

Please bring just ONE ingredient for stone soup meal and any questions you may have.  If you are interested in a conservation plan for your land, please sign up at the event.
