Fall Events Begin NEXT WEEK! Local "Harvest Your Conservation Potential" Learning Circles

That stunning Harvest Moon on display in the sky this week is a good indicator that Fall is nearly here, and we're ready for it! Our Summer Field Days on farms wrapped up this weekend, and now we are launching a statewide series of "Harvest Your Conservation Potential" Learning Circles next week. These events are organized to help women landowners and farmers connect with local conservation professionals to facilitate winter planning for 2023 conservation practice implementation.

At each Learning Circle we'll meet local professionals, but also spend plenty of time networking and getting to know other women farmers and landowners that live in the region. And we'll eat pie! Plus, we've picked beautiful locations with terrific views and hiking opportunities so you can make the most of an autumn afternoon away. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, living rural or urban, working lots of land or little, we want to work with you!

One of the things WiWiC can offer participants is a FREE professionally-written Conservation Plan or Grazing Plan based on a site visit. These events are a great place to learn about Conservation Plans and hear about what other women have in their Conservation Plans.

Click on the events for more information or to RSVP for FREE.

If you can't make it to a Regional Learning Circle, please feel free to reach out to us at info@WiWiC.org and we will connect you with a Conservation Coach who can help you get started with a Conservation Plan.
