We are absolutely delighted to tell you the news that we have received a tremendously generous MATCH offer from the Sally Mead Hands Foundation!

Any gift you give this Fall will be DOUBLED up to $10,000 so that WiWiC will end up with $20,000 by the end of the Challenge. If you have been thinking about giving to this effort - or giving AGAIN - now is the perfect time to make a donation!

Because of your donations and gifts from local foundations, along with the support of Michael Fields Agricultural Institute and help from Renewing the Countryside, we were able to host 30 events this year - in spite of the termination in federal funding! In 2026, Team WiWiC would love to get back into all of our established regions and expand into areas of the state that  have requested WiWiC networks. We'd also love to bring back the podcast and finish the research project Dr. Rebecca Christoffel started in 2021.

We are making progress, and this Match Challenge will make a big difference. Would. you consider giving a gift during the Harvest Season window to give thanks for this powerful network of women land stewards? Never have the efforts of those committed to caring for soil, water, and wildlife been more important. And never has it been more essential to care for ourselves and each other.

The WiWiC Network is over 5000 women strong - between us we can find the resources to grow forward. Can you give in 2025 to keep our WiWiC Hive alive? Monthly Sustaining Donors of $10 a month or more who sign up this year will get a hand-drawn WiWiC-themed Bandana in December - and of course that includes those of you who are already WiWiC Sustainers!  Any amount you can give will make a big difference. Thank you for your nurture of the Earth and this community.
